From the bride:
We met through my partner teacher who knew Donnie from grade school. It took me a month before I let her give him my number, and she gave it to Darla instead! So she forwarded my number to him. He texted me and we immediately hit it off, we made plans for that weekend to go to an FC Dallas game. Everything after just fell into place.
Donnie, Kiersten, and my mom planned an impromptu family house warming for my new apartment. Donnie proceeded to carry a cart of goodies up my 3 flights of stairs in the heat of July. He was a nervous wreck. Donnie asked me to open up mail he “received” that was a baseball card. He said he got a surprise card and he wanted me to open it for luck that it would be a good card. When I opened it it was a baseball card that had a picture of us on it and it said “Will you marry me?” Next thing I know he is on his knee and he asked and of course I could only say YES!!

The venue they chose was such a sweet little place perfect for a smaller scale wedding or event. The floral and bouquets were absolutely breathtaking and the cake was to die for!

So many talented vendors came together to create an event one little girl will remember forever!
Take a look at so many fun and exciting surprises that took place.
Rebecca & Joseph were married this morning at Bob Woodruff Park in Plano, TX under the most amazing large trees and surrounded by family and close friends. It was short and sweet, such a perfect day!
Note from the bride:
Joseph and I are childhood best friends. We’ve know each other 20+ years now but didn’t start dating until about 4 years ago. This is his first wedding and will be my 2nd/last. It truly is awesome that somehow we fell in love with our best friends. We are a goofy and our family is a little quirky but we are super easy going and like to have fun so this should be an easy shoot.

I had this dream to bring my former brides together for a styled shoot, it was really pretty difficult trying to coordinate schedules with each of the brides and all 15 vendors I had planned on using so I ended up doing something on a lower scale and loved the outcome so much. I shoot around 50+ weddings each year so trying to bring in all former brides together on the same day, well I can dream Some were expecting, some just had babies, many already preserved their gowns and a few sadly even trashed their dresses due to divorce
4 former brides, strangers to each other who instantly turned friends. Each bride has a story, they are different ages, some have kids and some do not. I first had them meet at one of my very favorite hair and makeup salons for the pampering. My vision was for each bride to have a different look according to an era (1940’s bride, 1950’s, etc)
After hair & makeup, they got into their original gowns and then my jewelry vendor provided them each with gorgeous earrings, bracelets, rings and even hair accessories.
We then headed to Prather Park in Dallas to start shooting and that is where one of my favorite florists met us with the most stunning bouquets! I posed each girl, shooting individual shots, two’s and group shots, focusing on details of jewelry, hair and makeup. What a gorgeous day and gorgeous turnout!
What will my next idea be? Stay tuned…

Maggie and Matt’s Story
On a family vacation to New Jersey with Maggie’s extended family, Matt decided to pop the question under the fireworks on the 4th of July. The beach, family time, and now a fiance, it was a vacation to remember!

Katy and Dennis were married at The Springs Event Venue in Rockwall, TX.
Dennis and Katy grew up in the small towns of Princeton and Farmersville and went to rival high schools. Dennis was very active in sports and dance and Katy was involved in cheerleading and dance. They had never met until a mutual friend suggested that they had similar interests. Once their paths crossed junior year of high school, the rest was history! They moved to Los Angeles after graduation and have been pursuing the fitness and entertainment industry ever since. Their dance background plays a huge role in how they met and they continue to share that passion with each other. They also enjoy travel and adventure, and they have exciting things planned for their future together. March 29th, 2018 will be their 5th anniversary.
Dennis proposed to Katy on Christmas Eve in 2016, he surprised her along with friends and family on her way home from the airport for the holidays. A link to the proposal video is attached below.

I can finally show off Katy’s gorgeous bridals we did at the Dallas Arboretum a couple of months ago. She was stunning in her gown from Leann’s Bridal and her mother’s original veil. The beautiful bouquet from Petals & Pearls Unique Designs complimented everything so nicely.
