Boudoir session – Osay

I have been photographing Osay and her family for several years now. I was thrilled when she asked me to do her boudoir photos. She was a little nervous but I told her she was in good hands. I loved her look!

We shot at my favorite studio The Lumen Room, I offered her some Champagne to help take the edge off and about 5 minutes into the session she was a natural!

Of course I cannot show you the entire session but these are some of my favorites.

College senior session – Maryelle

In just a few weeks this young lady graduates from Stephen F. Austin with a major in Dance. I made the trip out to Nacogdoches for her session, it is such a beautiful campus, so many options for photography.

She is finishing her 2nd year on the SFA dance team, prior to that she was a Kilgore Rangerette for two years. She is my beautiful Niece and I am so proud of her, I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Here are some of my favorites from the session 🙂

Senior session – Ryan

She’s graduating from  Bowie High School (Arlington, Texas) in less than a few weeks!

We shot at the Dallas Arboretum. I have been shooting there for over 10 years and that day was the first day I ever had to park across the street! It was packed full of people for a big event and 3 weddings, crazy but we made it happen.

She’s a beautiful young lady with a very bright future. Here are some of my favorites 🙂

Couple’s session – David & Kathleen

We shot at the Dallas Arboretum this morning, it was a bit chilly but still so beautiful. I just never get tired of that place!

She and I have been great friends for 30 years! I am so happy these two found each other, no matter where it may lead, I will keep you both in my prayers, you seem so great for one another <3

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

Wedding previews – Rebecca & Joseph

Rebecca & Joseph were married this morning at Bob Woodruff Park in Plano, TX under the most amazing large trees and surrounded by family and close friends. It was short and sweet, such a perfect day!

Note from the bride:

Joseph and I are childhood best friends. We’ve know each other 20+ years now but didn’t start dating until about 4 years ago. This is his first wedding and will be my 2nd/last. It truly is awesome that somehow we fell in love with our best friends. We are a goofy and our family is a little quirky but we are super easy going and like to have fun so this should be an easy shoot.

Meet Kennedy, a college Senior representing the University of North Texas!

We had such a great session this morning at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. She is a stunning young lady, reminds me of a young Greta Garbo

Here is a sneak peek!

Year of the brides styled shoot

I had this dream to bring my former brides together for a styled shoot, it was really pretty difficult trying to coordinate schedules with each of the brides and all 15 vendors I had planned on using so I ended up doing something on a lower scale and loved the outcome so much. I shoot around 50+ weddings each year so trying to bring in all former brides together on the same day, well I can dream 🙂 Some were expecting, some just had babies, many already preserved their gowns and a few sadly even trashed their dresses due to divorce 🙁

4 former brides, strangers to each other who instantly turned friends. Each bride has a story, they are different ages, some have kids and some do not. I first had them meet at one of my very favorite hair and makeup salons for the pampering. My vision was for each bride to have a different look according to an era (1940’s bride, 1950’s, etc)

After hair & makeup, they got into their original gowns and then my jewelry vendor provided them each with gorgeous earrings, bracelets, rings and even hair accessories.

We then headed to Prather Park in Dallas to start shooting and that is where one of my favorite florists met us with the most stunning bouquets! I posed each girl, shooting individual shots, two’s and group shots, focusing on details of jewelry, hair and makeup. What a gorgeous day and gorgeous turnout!

What will my next idea be? Stay tuned…
